Not at all. Some weeks you’ll save a memory every day. Other times life will get busy. There are no streaks to maintain and no pressure to keep up. Every memory you capture is one more moment that won’t be forgotten.
Yes. Your memories belong to you. Photos, notes, and voice recordings remain private and are never shared without your permission. Before You Forget is designed to protect your family’s story, not profit from it.
Your memories are currently stored on your iPhone, not on our servers. They are never public, sold, or used for advertising, and they are protected by your device’s built-in security, including your passcode, Face ID or Touch ID. Before You Forget does not yet provide its own cloud backup or sync, so deleting the app or losing your device may also remove locally stored memories. Keep your Apple device backups current. If we introduce cloud backup in a future version, we will explain how it works and ask your permission before uploading anything.
Yes. You can create separate timelines for each of your children, making it easy to preserve their individual stories while keeping everything organized in one place. Every child deserves a story that’s uniquely theirs.
