Before You Forget exists to protect memories, not exploit them.
We believe your photos, voice recordings, and journal entries belong to you and your family.
We never sell your personal memories.
We never use your content for advertising.
The current version is local-first: your memories are stored on your iPhone and are not uploaded to Before You Forget servers. The app does not yet provide its own cloud backup or sync, so deleting the app or losing your device may also remove locally stored memories.
Your trust is the foundation of everything we build.
The complete, legally reviewed privacy policy will be published on this page before the app is available on the App Store. Until then, the commitments above stand — and if you have any question in the meantime, write to support@beforeyouforget.app and we will give you a straight answer.
